Craig Eastmond and Sanchez Watt have joined League One side Colchester United on loan for three months.

The 21-year-old pair have been regulars for Terry Burton’s second string so far this term, with Eastmond making three appearances in the Under-21 Premier League and Watt netting four times in as many outings.

Wandsworth-born Eastmond has previously enjoyed success on loan with Wycombe Wanderers, for whom he played 14 times last season, and Millwall. The midfielder has represented Arsène Wenger’s first team on 10 occasions and was part of Arsenal's travelling squad to Asia in pre-season, playing in matches against a Malaysia XI, Manchester City and Kitchee.

Striker Watt, who spent time with Sheffield Wednesday and then Crawley Town last season, joins Eastmond on loan to gain further competitive experience. A former England youth international and FA Youth Cup winner, Watt has featured three times for the Arsenal first team.

Everyone at Arsenal wishes Craig and Sanchez well for their time with the Essex club.
