On a frustrating result…
The result was a bad result for us and it was a poor goal [to concede]. We seem to give a goal away every game. But I think, especially in the second half, that we did ever so well. We created a lot of chances on a poor pitch, looked much brighter at the top end and I think a plus point was that we had two Under-15s that came in. Chuba Akpom and Jack Jebb had a good 20 minutes and look like two good players.
On very little space in the first half…
It wasn’t the greatest first half. They had a couple of chances, Zak [Ansah] had one or two chances in the second half and I think Alban [Bunjaku] could have scored a hat-trick. We had a nailed-on penalty for handball that hasn’t been given. I think we were much better in the second half.
On their goal coming against the run of play…
It was a poor header from Jernade [Meade] and then a poor header from Daniel [Boateng]. I think, overall, we deserved more than we got and possibly could have won the game. Like I say, the positives were the two young kids who have been blooded in the game.
