On the performance…
I'm really pleased. I thought it was a really good all-round performance from start to finish. I was impressed with the way we moved the ball and the goals we created and also when Birmingham had the ball we worked collectively to close down.

On changing formation…
We've worked from the first team with the manager being away with them pre-season. We've taken it with the reserves, right through the club. We're working on it in the training ground; tactical work, and we feel it's paying us dividends at the moment.

On being composed in front of goal…
It's a testament to how hard they’ve worked over the last eight weeks and years gone by. You're starting to really see what we've seen for some time. We're seeing them physically mature now and they should really march on.

On player development

The biggest thing for young players is maturity. Growing from a lad into a man, and I think the quicker they make that transfer the quicker they become better players. I think with a lot of them you're seeing that now, they're becoming young men and they know what's expected of them.

On maintaining the performance for 90 minutes…
That's what we expect of them; it's Arsenal. We've got high demands of them and we expect that and anything less is not acceptable.

On Stoke in two weeks
It will be another tough game with Stoke. It was a tough game against them last year and we'll face Stoke at Underhill and hopefully put on another good performance.
