Benik Afobe has rejoined League One Huddersfield Town until the end of the season.

Young forward Afobe,17, impressed for Lee Clark’s side during his initial spell, when he found the net three times in 13 appearances.

Now back at the Galpharm Stadium until the end of the season, the England Youth international will look to help the Terriers in their push for promotion to the Championship. However, Afobe will be ineligible for Huddersfield when they visit Emirates Stadium for the Fourth Round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

At Arsenal this season, Afobe has featured six times for the Reserves, scoring two goals. He also scored twice in the FA Youth Cup, when he bagged a brace in the Third Round tie with Darlington.

In 2009/10, the Leyton born youngster was an instrumental part of the Premier Academy League-winning side, scoring 20 goals in 25 appearances, and netting a hat-trick in the play-off final against Nottingham Forest.

Afobe, who joined the Arsenal Academy aged just eight, signed professional terms with the Club in February 2010.

Everyone at Arsenal Football wishes Benik the best of luck during his second spell with Huddersfield Town.
