Arsenal can confirm that defender Abu Ogogo has joined League Two side Barnet on loan for one month.
The 19 year-old defender, who has been an unused substitute in both Carling Cup matches this season, has been a regular in Neil Banfield’s Reserves for the past two seasons.
Although Abu was originally trained as a midfielder, he comfortably adapted to life at right-back, honing his defensive qualities to become an important asset to the Club at Youth and Reserve levels, and signed professional forms with the Club in September 2007.
Abu will immediately join up with Paul Fairclough’s Barnet side and will stay on loan with The Bees for a one month period.
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Abu the best of luck with Barnet.
