Sao Paulo 3-0 Ponte Preta, August 19
Denilson appeared twice in three days as Sao Paulo ended a run of three straight defeats with a 3-0 victory over Ponte Preta. The midfielder played 67 minutes before being replaced in the second half. On Thursday, Denilson had played the full 90 minutes as his side suffered a 3-0 defeat against Nautico.
