Huddersfield 3-3 Bournemouth (aet; 4-2 pens)

Benik Afobe played 109 minutes before being substituted as Huddersfield beat Bournemouth on penalties in their League One Play-Off Semi-Final on Wednesday. The score was locked at 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes and goals from Danny Ings and Antony Kay sent the game to spot kicks. Bournemouth missed two penalties as the Arsenal loanee’s booked their Final place.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas played 60 minutes before being substituted as Cardiff crashed out of the Championship Play-Offs with defeat against Reading. Dave Jones’ side lost 3-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday and 3-0 on aggregate. Shane Long scored a first-half brace and Jobi McAnuff added a third to send Reading into the Final, where they will meet Swansea.
