Versatile defender Sead Hajrovic was another reserve hopeful to enjoy Football League experience last season.
Although the 19-year-old's spell with Barnet was hampered somewhat by injury, the young full back - who is equally capable of playing in the middle - made 10 appearances as the Bees avoided relegation from League Two.
Sead has pedigree at youth level. He was part of the Swiss side that won the Under-17 World Cup in 2009, before going on to captain the Under-18s.
Following on from Philippe Senderos and Johan Djourou, Sead heads a new generation of Swiss talent at Arsenal that also includes Martin Angha and Elton Monteiro.
Sead has benefited from another year of experience and was a regular presence at right back for Neil Banfield's reserves last season.
Solid defensive displays do not always turn heads but Sead's consistency bodes well for the future.
FINEST MOMENT
Sead made his full league debut for Barnet in the League Two side's goalless draw against Plymouth in February.
