Samir Bihmoutine again delivered another encouraging campaign and appeared twice as a substitute for the reserve team.
The pacy left back is still adjusting to a more defensive role having spent the majority of his youth career as a winger, buthe has impressed with his application and enthusiasm.
The 18-year-old will now have his sights firmly set on continuing his development by making himself a regular in the second string next term.
“I’ve had to learn quite a bit about covering and about heading, which I wasn’t really used to on the left wing. I found it quite hard at first, with the increased physical expectation of playing in defence, but I’ve picked it up with time. I’ve got a programme from the fitness coach to help me with my strength on the pitch. I’m following it closely and so far it’s paying off.”
It was neat work from Samir which set up Kyle Ebecilio for a goal against Coventry at London Colney in March.
