Up until that point the Sweden youth international had been an ever-present in Steve Bould's Under-18s side, catching the eye with a string of classy displays at the heart of midfield.
Kristoffer only joined the academy last summer after two successful trials at Shenley and has since impressed as a first-year scholar. He scored goals against Portsmouth and Ipswich during the campaign but particularly caught the eye with his willingness to provide for others.
Technically gifted and highly thought of at London Colney, Kristoffer will be keen to put this season's injury troubles behind him to continue where he left off.
“In Sweden I played more as a defensive midfielder, but now I am here with Arsenal I have played in an offensive role. I wear the No 10 shirt and tend to play further forward just behind the strikers but it is my defensive game that I really want to improve now."
Kristoffer's strike against Ipswich was a glimpse of what the 16-year-old is capable of. The young midfielder picked the ball up from a wide position before drifting inside and firing a neat drive into the bottom corner.
