Chuks Aneke made his breakthrough into the Reserve team last season and put in some solid midfield performances while continuing to impress in the Under-18s.
The midfielder also chipped in with some important goals, such as his two headers in the FA Youth Cup Third Round clash with Crewe Alexandra. In addition to that, Youth-team strikers Benik Afobe, Luke Freeman and Roarie Deacon all gave credit to Aneke for helping them move their goals tally into double figures last term.
He continued to rise up the England youth international ranks to but had to return home from the European Under-17 Championships because of injury.

"My season has got better as it has gone on and I am playing with a lot of confidence. I work a lot on my finishing after training. I have scored quite a lot of goals recently but I have the chances to score a lot more and that is my target."
