On going out of the FA Youth Cup...
The big disappointment is not the result, we didn’t perform and we didn’t play well tonight. One or two haven’t performed at the level we know they can. They are massively disappointed in the dressing room because they haven’t played. I said to them at half time, we need to be braver with the ball and if we get beat, we get beat. For whatever reason, it didn’t happen tonight.

On getting an early goal...
We worked on some corners and free kicks and we did feel that if we had good quality there, that we would score. The performance after that was not our best.

On conceding right after half time...
We were playing bad enough as it was, but when you gift them goals you’re always on the back foot and everyone’s confidence looked shot at that stage. To be fair Chelsea were better than us tonight and we didn’t live up to expectations.

On a disappointing performance...
That’s the big disappointment for all of us. We all look at ourselves and ask what we could have done better, and tonight we weren’t at the level we should have been. That’s something we will have to look at and analyse. You get over these things but the sad part is we can’t play at Old Trafford or Emirates now, and that’s an experience the kids are missing out on.
