on the result…
I thought we started OK and had a bit of luck in the first half. We got a foothold in the game and I thought we did well. In the second half, the game started alright but then I thought Fulham dominated for 15 to 20 minutes and we were on the rack a little bit. Then I think we came back into it in the last 15 minutes, so it wasn't too bad to be fair. I think the physical challenge is telling on one or two of them but that's the stage we're at with this group.

on not taking chances…
There was some nice stuff [in the first half] and we created some chances so I suppose we were a little bit unfortunate not to go into half time in the lead. But that is what football is all about, you have to take your chances when you get them.

on conceding straight after the break…
Unfortunately for Elton [Monteiro] it was a bit of an error but he's young, it's his second game and he's done OK against a strong side. Hopefully he will learn from it and get better for it.

on strength of the opposition…
That is what this league is all about, it is a hard one. That's why we are here and why we produce the players that we do. I said to them in the training room, these are hard games that we're having at the moment but we just have to keep going and believe in what we are doing. Hopefully we will produce some more players.

on the positives…
I think some of the football we played under pressure against a strong side was a positive. We have some physically young players, so that was pleasing. So there are a few positives to take out. Obviously losing is a big disappointment but I think you have to look through that and look at some of the performances from the younger players.

on Lukasz Fabianski…
It's great to see Lukasz back. He's done fine, is a good professional and he helped out a young back four tonight. He's done well.
