On what pleased him about the victory...
The win [pleased me today]. That was the best we could say about today’s performance - that we ended up winning. I think we could have passed the ball better but unfortunately with young professionals they have to realise that in every game they have to perform. It’s not something they can work on in training, it’s just a mental approach.

On the goal his team conceded...
Another header. It’s something we’re aware of and we’ve got to keep working at it and keep doing the right things and in the end the penny will drop with young players.

What the players can learn from Aaron Ramsey...
They can learn from his energy and his enthusiasm for the game. He’s only young himself when you think about it. He’s come out today in his first game and it’s great to see him back on the pitch. Hopefully he will have another run out with longer pitch time.

The style of football his team play...
Along with the first team, the way we play we do create a lot of chances. It’s nice to see a few others getting on the scoresheet.

The season so far...
Overall it’s been a good start to the season. The way we’ve played has been pleasing and some of the performances during the season have been outstanding.

The FA Youth Cup...
Quite a lot of them are going to be able to play in the FA Youth Cup so hopefully this [Reserve League football] will hold them in good stead for it.
