It was a good performance on a lovely pitch and we played some good football. We got a little bit sloppy in the second half but, overall, it was a good work-out.

It’s gone well, it’s gone very well. The lads are looking very sharp and the football is coming along nicely.

Tonight was a tough game but the boys have played some really good football and I’m pleased with them.
on Henri Lansbury and Vito Mannone…
Henri is on the fringes of the first-team squad and has applied himself very well. Vito, as well, was first-class. These games are good run-outs for them and they can all use it for their own purposes.
