Steve Bould spoke to Arsenal.com after the Under-18s' 5-0 victory over Portsmouth at London Colney on Saturday.

on the win…
I'm delighted. It's not that we scored five goals, it's that the performance as a whole was very good today and we looked like a proper Arsenal team.

on the team performance…
It really was a good team performance, I think they all played their part and not one of them let their standards drop. All of them, even the substitutes when they came on, I'm very pleased with.

on scoring five…
It's fabulous. It's also nice that we got a clean sheet when we perhaps shouldn't have done when one of their lads missed a sitter and fell over. But I think we possibly could have scored more. It was nice to get a clean sheet but the most important thing is that we performed as we tried to do in an Arsenal manner. We moved the ball really well today.

on the weather conditions…
I know it's a lovely pitch we have here but the blustery conditions must just be on a Saturday at London Colney! I did think it was [going to be a factor], it normally is. The last couple of games we have played down here it's been like it with a howling gale, it's difficult. But we coped with that, moved the ball well and there was some very good performances.

on Brandon Ormond's debut…
I think he was fabulous, it was a great start for the kid. For an Under-16 coming in at this level it is never easy but he had a great start. We all think he's a good player with a good chance.

on keeping the winning run in 2012 going…
We've got a chance now that if we can win the league, we can extend the season. It's not about winning the league but what it does do is extend it and perhaps get the kids playing at bigger grounds.
