On a hard-fought draw…
I’m really pleased with a draw. Chelsea played very well and had us on the rack for long periods but we showed good resilience, spirit and discipline in what we’ve been working on. At the end of the day, they didn’t kill us off and we’ve got an equaliser late in the game. It was a good test for the lads today.

On facing a strong Chelsea side…
I said to [the lads], ‘you’re playing against good players’. [Chelsea had] regular first-team players like Jeffrey Bruma and Joshua McEachran, they had a strong side today. Yes, they may have had more of the possession but at the end of the day you have to convert it.

On Luke Freeman’s late equaliser…
You can’t [argue with the finish]. Luke is a player that gives you everything he’s got and he gets frustrated with himself sometimes. He can always nick you one and he’s come up with a goal for us.

On facing Chelsea three times in two weeks…
Over the three games you can see it’s very even between the two clubs. They have got some good players, we have got good players as well and that’s what it’s all about. Hopefully you will see some of these players in our first team and some [of their players] in the Chelsea first team, that is what this Reserve League is all about. When it is Arsenal against Chelsea it is very competitive and we want to win.
