This week we invited Arsenal fans everywhere to tweet their welcome messages for our new striker, Olivier Giroud - for a chance to win a home shirt signed by the France international.

Thousands of fans across the globe took to Twitter and used the hashtag #WelcomeOlivier to congratulate the 25-year-old on his move to Emirates Stadium and wish him every success in his Gunners career.

We were blown away by the response from our passionate fans and the warmth of the messages for Olivier, so selecting a winner was difficult.

But after much deliberation, we chose @GNayler, whose tweet welcoming Olivier is below.
