Jack Wilshere has thanked Arsenal's fans for naming him EA SPORTS Player of the Month.
The 18-year-old had a sensational September and earned more than 40 per cent of the votes in our official Club poll.
"It was a great month for me and I want to thank all the fans that voted for me," Wilshere told Arsenal.com. "Hopefully we can push on and get some more points in the league."
Jack played six games last month and, although he has yet to break his duck for the season, he was hugely influential in a deeper midfield role.
Cute backheels from Jack set up goals for Marouane Chamakh and Andrey Arshavin in Europe but he saved his finest display for the Carling Cup, pulling the strings in a 4-1 win at Tottenham.
Samir Nasri, who scored twice at White Hart Lane, finished second in our poll with 30 per cent of the vote. And Marouane Chamakh registered his second successive third place with 12.9 per cent.

Anthony Lee from Wimborne in Dorset - an Arsenal fan for 43 years - will present Jack with his award before the Birmingham game at Emirates Stadium on October 16.
He will also receive two tickets to that game.
"Jack has shown maturity beyond his years and has clearly demonstrated the ability and potential we all knew he had," said Anthony.Copyright 2013 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
