Fans choose Arsenal's player of the decade

Arsenal fans have voted Thierry Henry as the Club's player of the decade.

The French legend scored a record 226 goals in 380 appearances for Arsenal, arriving at Highbury in 1999 as a raw winger and leaving Emirates Stadium in 2007 as an iconic striker.

Henry won this 'Best of Decade' poll by a landslide, clocking 60 per cent of the votes cast.

That's pretty impressive considering the opposition. Dennis Bergkamp is another bonafide Arsenal legend but had to settle for 27 per cent of the votes while modern-day hero and current captain Cesc Fabregas was a distant third with five per cent.
