Arsenal's Faye White will captain England Women in the European Championship Final.

The defender missed the Semi-Final against Holland with a fractured and dislocated cheekbone, but will wear a protective mask enabling her to line-up against Germany on Thursday evening.

England last took place in a major final in 1984, when they lost to Sweden in the European Championships.

Gunner Katie Chapman will line-up alongside White, as the Three Lions look to claim the European crown.

Laura Bassett is also in the squad and will be hoping to have a role in Hope Powell's side for the Final.

England's opponents Germany are world champions, and have claimed the last four European titles.

The big game takes place in Helsinki Olympic Stadium at 5pm (UK) on Thursday.
