Arsène Wenger has dedicated his World Coach of the Decade award to his staff.

The Arsenal manager was honoured by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics this week, edging out the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho.

Wenger will receive a golden trophy at the World Football Gala later this year but he believes his colleagues at Arsenal should share any plaudits that come his way.

"I think it rewards the work of our club as a unit and all my staff who are here every day,"  Wenger told Arsenal TV Online. "So I would like to dedicate that [award] to everyone who has worked so hard with me at this club for the last ten years.

"Many people have put a lot of effort in and that's a great reward for them as well.

"If it [the award] is confirmed by statistics then I am happy because that shows we have a great consistency,"
