Alex Song in action
Wenger will assess Song over week
We have a news update on the two triallists currently at the Club.
Ex-Barcelona centre back Philippe Christanval featured against Barnet on Saturday but was not involved in 5-0 win over Weiz on Wednesday night. "He is injured," explained Arsène Wenger.
Alex Song played the entire 90 minutes against the Austrian Fourth Division side. The 17-year-old from Bastia, who operated in central midfield, is currently with the Club at the pre-season training camp.
"Song is a young boy," said Wenger. "It was his first game but he looks to have talent.
"We will look at him for a week and then we'll see
where we go from there. I'll give you my conclusion after
that."
