Arsène Wenger says Kieran Gibbs and Bacary Sagna’s imminent return makes a left-back loan signing unnecessary.
England international Gibbs will be back in full training on Monday after three months out while Sagna - who can fill in on the left - returned this week.
Wenger also has Thomas Vermaelen available and says there is no need for him to enter the transfer market.
“Gibbs is back in full training on Monday, and Vermaelen can [also] play left back and he is fit. [Andre] Santos will be fit in March,” he said.
“Three left backs, plus Sagna - who can play there - is four. We are not [shopping for a] left back.”
