Arsène Wenger insists Arsenal are better equipped now than they were last season.
The manager believes his side is experienced enough to mount a title challenge, describing them as "real men". However, he has reiterated his desire to strengthen his back line.

"I believe the team is better equipped," he said. "Let's not be fooled by the fact we are still short at the back and we still need to add.
"If we manage to do that we are better equipped because we have more experience. The average age of our players is now [around] 23, 24. They are real men now.
"I believe we have a bigger chance as well because the League is now open, so it is down to who is more consistent."
