Arsène Wenger believes young midfielder Mario Gotze is the man his Gunners side must watch on Tuesday.

The highly-rated 19-year-old has caught the eye in the Bundesliga since making his breakthrough into the Dortmund first-team aged 17, and has already featured nine times for the German national side.

Although yet to feature in the Champions League as a player, Wenger believes that the youngster will be the man to look out for when his side travel to the German champions for their Group F opener.

“He is the provider,” Wenger said. “He is the one who had the best assists in Germany and is the most dangerous player.

“He links well with his strikers and is the player we have to keep quiet. The best way to keep him quiet is for us to attack.”
