Arsène Wenger insists his team must move on quickly from Tuesday night's surprise defeat to Bradford.

Arsenal crashed out of the Capital One Cup at the Coral Windows Stadium after losing 3-2 on penalties to their League Two opponents.

While Wenger was dismayed at the result, he says his side must turn their attention to future performances now.

“[The squad felt] disappointment and frustration,” he said. “That is normal when you go out in a competition like that. Having said that, we can only look at ourselves, get on with it and look to the future.

“This team cares, is serious and wants to do well. I do not question the spirit of the team.

“We are top professional people. What is important is what happens tomorrow, not what happened yesterday. We are sorry for [the defeat to Bradford] but what is important is the next game.”
