Arsène Wenger has admitted the threat Didier Drogba could cause ahead of the Premier League game against Chelsea.
The Ivorian front man scored four times against Arsenal last season and has yet to be on the losing side against the Gunners in the six years since his move from Marsielle.
Incredibly Drogba has netted a total of 12 times against Arsenal and their manager is wary of the danger he poses.
“He is a complete striker,” said Wenger.
“We have to stop him, to be efficient against him and I am convinced we will do that on Sunday.
“He has talent. He is a guy who can turn up at individual actions, like free kicks or set pieces and also crosses for headers.
“This is why he has scored goals against many teams.”Copyright 2013 The Arsenal Football Club plc. Permission to use quotations from this article is granted subject to appropriate credit being given to www.arsenal.com as the source 1 Oct 2010
