Arsène Wenger won't complain about injury problems because he believes Arsenal have a big enough squad to cope.

The Frenchman has had anything up to 12 players out at one time this season and started this week with four absentees - Aaron Ramsey, Robin van Persie, Johan Djourou and Kieran Gibbs.

That quartet was supplemented by Cesc Fabregas, Andrey Arshavin and William Gallas during the 2-2 draw with Barcelona on Wednesday night, leaving Wenger without a number of leading stars for a crucial phase of the season.

But the Arsenal manager is adopting a phlegmatic approach to this week's set-backs because he knows that injuries come with the territory.

"That is why the big clubs have big squads," said Wenger.

"No matter what happens we cannot complain, because we have the luxury of having 20 players of nearly the same level.

"In every squad you have two or three personalities who are a bit more dominant, but we cannot complain because we have top-class players on the bench anyway."
