Arsène Wenger is confident that Arsenal can still finish top of their Champions League group.
Wenger’s team are one point behind group-leaders Schalke in Group B, and must better the result of Huub Stevens’ side if they are to secure first place.
The Arsenal manager believes the German side will find it tough at Stade de la Mosson, and he could rest some of his players for the trip to Olympiacos.
“There is something at stake and I’ll have to give a breather to some players who are on the edge, as well as go over there and win our game to make sure that we do the job until the end,” he said.
“That’s what I will try to achieve. I’m confident that Montpellier will want to finish the Champions League well.
“Schalke have had a little bit of a dip. They lost a few games. They were in complete form one month ago and now they look to have a dip. Montpellier are coming up again. They are having good results - there’s a chance that Montpellier can beat Schalke.”Copyright 2013 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
