Arsène Wenger may have called off his search for a striker.
At the start of the transfer window the Arsenal manager said he wanted to bring in a frontman to cover a couple of key injuries. As a result, the Club has been linked with a number of major names throughout January.
However Wenger is well-aware that his side are the top scorers in the Premier League and have amassed 23 points out of a possible 27 since the start of December.
With fit-again Nicklas Bendtner likely to be in the squad at Aston Villa on Wednesday, it seems that Wenger may have changed his transfer policy.
On Tuesday morning Klaas-Jan Huntelaar became the latest name to be linked with Arsenal. But when the Dutchman's name was put to Wenger at Tuesday's press conference, the manager replied: "We are not after any striker at the moment."
If any transfer is completed before the deadline next Monday, it will be announced via Arsenal.com.
