Arsène Wenger does not expect the balance of power to shift a great deal in the Champions League in the wake of this summer's transfer dealings.
Real Madrid have been the continent's big spenders with Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Xabi Alonso all arriving at the Bernabeu during the close season.
Wenger accepts that the Spanish giants have a better chance of lifting European football's most prestigious trophy as a result of their summer splurge but he expects the usual suspects to be up there competing again.
"What has changed?" asked the Arsenal manager. "You would say that Real Madrid is stronger than last year for sure.
"Barcelona cannot be much weaker and maybe Inter Milan is stronger as well. For the rest of Europe, unless there is somebody else surprising coming out, I can’t see any team who has made a revolution."
