Arsène Wenger will leave decisions over the fitness of Mikael Silvestre and Kieran Gibbs to the morning of the Champions League Semi-Final first leg with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The veteran French centre back picked up a back injury in the 2-0 win over Middlesbrough on Sunday while the 19-year-old left back has been carrying a groin problem for a few games.
The Arsenal manager has the option of Johan Djourou at centre back and, if fit, Silvestre could cover the absence of Gibbs. But, whatever happens, it will be a late call.
“We’ll make those decisions in the morning,” said Wenger. “Silvestre will have an assessment. He has a back injury and we have a slight problem with Gibbs as well.”
