Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool. The order is debatable but the common consensus is that the so-called 'Big Four' will occupy the top four places at the end of the Premiership campaign.
Arsène Wenger is not so sure. Everton are the only club to break that quartet's stranglehold in the past four seasons but the Arsenal manager expects at least one new face in the title race this time around.
"I expect more than four teams in it because many of the clubs have bought big players," said Wenger. "Some of them will not be successful in doing it. But one of them will be.
"Will it be West Ham, Manchester City, Aston Villa,
Newcastle? All of these clubs who were not in the top four have
bought. If one of these clicks it will
click."
