Arsène Wenger has remained tight-lipped amid rumours that he is close to sealing a deal to bring Marouane Chamakh to Arsenal.
The Bordeaux striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Club since last summer and will be available on a free transfer in June once his current contract expires.
Chamakh has reportedly confirmed that Emirates Stadium is his first-choice destination but Wenger refused to be drawn on the matter when it cropped up at his pre-match press conference.
"I believe he talks to many clubs, that he is entitled to do," said the Arsenal manager.
"He is free to sign a pre-contract. He is free to sign where he wants but I cannot interfere in that.
"We are talking to nobody. We are focusing on tomorrow's game."
