Arsène Wenger has remained tight-lipped amid rumours that he is close to sealing a deal to bring Marouane Chamakh to Arsenal.
The Bordeaux striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Club since last summer and will be available on a free transfer in June once his current contract expires.
Chamakh has reportedly confirmed that Emirates Stadium is his first-choice destination but Wenger refused to be drawn on the matter when it cropped up at his pre-match press conference.
"I believe he talks to many clubs, that he is entitled to do," said the Arsenal manager.
"He is free to sign a pre-contract. He is free to sign where he wants but I cannot interfere in that.
"We are talking to nobody. We are focusing on tomorrow's game."Copyright 2016 The Arsenal Football Club plc. Permission to use quotations from this article is granted subject to appropriate credit being given to www.arsenal.com as the source
