on an incredible Carling Cup tie ...
"It was a great game. We dominated
football-wise in the first half, playing our combination game. We
were technically very good, very agile. But just before half-time
Blackburn came back to 2-1, that gave them belief that they could
come back in the second half. I felt that the game was more
physical in the second half, we didn't get our game going so
much and on a set piece they came back to 2-2. From then on it was
more a mental test and we stood up to it."
on Denilson's sending-off...
"I think Denilson lost his nerves a little bit
on the tackle, I will not say anything against the red
card."
on the quality of his young players...
"They are all good Premier League players, you
know? Their quality is not questionable. The only thing you could
question is whether such a young side can last through the whole
season. But quality-wise there is no problem."
on injuries...
"Nacer Barazite got a dislocated shoulder. The
others have tired legs."
