Arsène Wenger believes Alex Song could be the most improved player in the Premier League.
The midfielder has already made 33 starts for the Gunners this season and looked comfortable when he moved to centre half following the dismissal of Thomas Vermaelen during the 2-0 win over West Ham.
The Cameroon international has been one of the stars of Arsenal's season and after Saturday's victory it was put to Wenger that Song could be the Premier League's most improved player.
"He's not far, certainly," he responded. "I don't have others in mind. But he has real quality."
