Arsène Wenger thinks the price of tickets for football finals is too high.

UEFA announced this week that tickets for this season’s Champions League Final at Wembley would be more expensive than ever, with the cheapest going on sale for an extraordinary £176. According to Wenger, they should be cheaper.

“All the prices are too high now, for the fans,” said the Arsenal manager. “Whether it's the World Cup Final, the Champions League Final or the FA Cup Final, it always looks to me to be very high.

“I'm always surprised that people still turn up. I personally am for low prices in these kinds of Finals. It should not make a selection of differences between the incomes in a very popular sport on a special occasion.

"Or, at least, you should have a big part of the stadium, which is set at an affordable price.”
