Arsene Wenger has praised Santi Cazorla’s unfussy nature.
The Spanish playmaker has become a firm fans’ favourite since signing from Malaga in the summer of 2012.
According to Opta, no player has more Premier League goal assists than Cazorla during his time in England - a stat that does not surprise Wenger.
“That tells you a lot about him,” Wenger said. “I like that in football, I like the guys who can make others happy and he is one of them.
“He is the type of player who comes into the dressing room, puts on his kit and goes out and plays. There is no strapping, no special medical preparation, he is just born to play football. He does that remarkably well.
“Football is natural for Santi and it is a joy to watch him for all of us. He is very happy on the pitch and that is why he can absorb these games.”
