Arsène Wenger will make a late decision over the fitness of Julio Baptista for the Carling Cup Semi-Final second leg on Wednesday.

The Arsenal striker, scorer of two goals at Tottenham in the opening game last week, injured his groin during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Bolton.

Afterwards the Arsenal manager suggested Baptista's injury might force him to enter the transfer market. However the problem appears to be minor. The 25-year-old will undergo intense treatment over the next few days but, as yet, he has not been ruled out of the Tottenham game.

Arsenal.com will have a full injury update on Tuesday afternoon.
