Arsène Wenger and Robin van Persie praised Tomas Rosicky after the Czech international helped turn Wednesday's Champions League tie Arsenal's way.

The visitors looked vulnerable at half-time after Antonio di Natale's header brought Udinese level on aggregate but second-half goals from Van Persie and Theo Walcott took Arsenal into the Group Stage for a 14th consecutive year.

The Club's medical staff worked hard to get Rosicky fit for the second leg and he gave Wenger's side more control and invention after replacing Emmanuel Frimpong at the break.

"I felt that we lacked a little bit of creativity in the middle of the park and needed to be a little bit more creative," said Wenger. "Tomas had a big influence in the second-half."

Van Persie added: "I believe Tomas was incredible. He came on, played incredibly well and credit to him and the team."
