Harry Redknapp
Wenger - Redknapp is the man for Tottenham
By Nick Teale
Arsène Wenger believes Tottenham have found the right manager in Harry Redknapp.
The Englishman has been in his current job for just over a year and in that time has won plaudits for turning around Spurs' fortunes.
Ahead of the North London derby, Wenger was asked if he believes Redknapp to be the right man to take Tottenham forward.
"Yes, I think so," replied the Frenchman. "He has shown through his experience and his intelligence that he can do it."
The White Hart Lane club have had 13 different managers in as many years and Wenger believes that makes it difficult to be successful.
"Stability is an important part of success in football," he said. "But it's not easy to manage because no chairman would tell you the opposite.
"If you look at the Premier League there are not many managers that stay there a long time."
