Arsène Wenger believes his squad has turned the corner and can now put a strong run of results together.

Arsenal advanced to the Champions League Group Stage for the 14th consecutive year last month but they stuttered in the Premier League, picking up one point from the first three fixtures.

Last weekend's 1-0 win over Swansea City turned things around and Wenger wants his players to build further momentum at Blackburn on Saturday.

"That is what we want to achieve and hopefully it will go as planned," he said.

"We know that we will be tested in every single game in the Premier League and Shrewsbury in the Carling Cup will be difficult. Let’s just show that we can win the next one, the next one is Blackburn.

"They are a good side. They got a point last week at Fulham and were a bit unlucky against Everton. So let’s prepare ourselves for a difficult opponent.

"You lose your confidence quickly and you gain it back slowly. You only gain it back with hard work and that is what we want to show at Blackburn."

The full interview with Wenger is now available. He discusses: the team's search for confidence, Laurent Koscielny's encouraging form, a new system for set-pieces, confidence in his transfer window captures and Blackburn's start to the season.
