The transfer window will close this week and it is highly
unlikely that Arsenal will be involved in any deals.
Arsène Wenger admits he does have the funds to buy the players he wants but cannot find anyone who he feels would add to his squad. He also suggested that, as it stands, no-one was likely to leave this week.
"There is no movement in or out," said the Arsenal manager in his TV press conference.
"We have time to make a move if we find a player we want," he added when talking to print journalists. "We have the money to buy any player we want. If I find the right player I will always buy him."
But Wenger re-iterated that any move was unlikely before the window slams shut on Friday.Copyright 2013 The Arsenal Football Club plc. Permission to use quotations from this article is granted subject to appropriate credit being given to www.arsenal.com as the source 29 Aug 2007
