Manuel Almunia’s future at Arsenal remains uncertain.
The Spanish goalkeeper has not played for the Club since the 3-2 defeat against West Brom in September and is currently nursing an ankle injury.
Last week Arsène Wenger admitted there was “a small chance” that Almunia could leave Arsenal during the transfer window. At his pre-match press conference on Friday, the manager explained that the situation had not changed.
“No [I haven’t spoken to him] and I haven’t seen a lot of Almunia because we have travelled,” said Wenger.
“At the moment the situation is exactly the same as last week.”
