Arsène Wenger believes Arsenal is a Club littered with players who hold the potential to become big names in football.

During his press conference ahead of Saturday's clash with Everton, the manager was asked if he planned to make any ‘big-name' signings during the January transfer window.

The Frenchman responded by questioning what defines a big-name player and explaining that for him, it is performances that make the difference.

And according to the manager Arsenal do not need to sign any ‘big names' because the Club already has a wealth of players who have the chance to become stars.

"For me a big name is a player who makes great performances," he said. "That is why you have the opportunity to make your name for Arsenal Football Club.

"Put a great performance in and the next day you are a big name. We have plenty of good young players who can do that."
