Arsène Wenger says Manchester City will not roll over and allow Manchester United an easy run to the Premier League title.

City head to Emirates Stadium on Sunday as they look to keep their league hopes alive but they could be eight points behind their local rivals by kick-off.

Roberto Mancini has conceded that defeat to Arsenal would rule his side out of the race but Wenger believes City will battle to the very end.

“They will [fight until the last], certainly,” said the Frenchman. “But I believe we should wait and see what happens over the weekend.

“Unfortunately we are not involved in the title race and we will let them sort it out between themselves, but at the moment Manchester United have the advantage.”
