Arsène Wenger believes Steve Kean has handled his pressurised situation well this season.
Kean, who replaced Sam Allardyce as Blackburn manager in December 2010, has come under criticism from supporters amid regular protests at Ewood Park.
The Lancashire outfit have won just four matches this term but Wenger has backed his opposite number for standing strong in difficult circumstances.
“It's difficult and I feel he has handled himself very well,” he said. “That's a credit to him. I feel you always want to focus on what is important and that is the quality of the game and the environment, you have to deal with that.
“It's not easy, nowhere is easy nowadays, but with the media and the opinions of everybody we live in a constant drama. But it's not like that, you know?
“Football is a happy moment where people come together to watch the team they love. We have to stop to make a drama of everything but there are much more dreadful things in life than that.
“We have to keep focused on the fact that we have a fantastic opportunity to play football and we want to focus on that with happy minds, not always to be in a drama.”
