Arsenal’s strongest available line-up will be on the pitch at the Stade Velodrome, says Arsène Wenger.
The Gunners travel to France to face an unbeaten Marseille side tonight in the Champions League but with games coming thick and fast there has been a suggestion that Wenger will rotate his squad. That is not necessarily so.
“I will put out the best team to win the match tomorrow,” he said.
“The margin between the players is very thin but I will not rest some players due to fatigue because they are not tired.”
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has not travelled with the squad for the Group F clash but Wenger says the young winger will definitely be involved in next week’s Carling Cup match against Bolton.
“He’s not in the squad,” the Frenchman said. “He’ll play next week certainly in the Carling Cup.
“Maybe he will be involved Sunday but he is getting there - he is getting sharper and sharper. He will soon play.”Copyright 2016 The Arsenal Football Club plc. Permission to use quotations from this article is granted subject to appropriate credit being given to www.arsenal.com as the source
