on Arsenal's slow start...
"I felt we had a little bit of a sloppy start. Then it became
difficult for us because it was a shock [to concede]. When you
don't start very well it is always difficult to come back into
the game in a convincing manner. I think we had the merit to come
back to 1-1 and to win the game in the end because in the second
half it was all us. We controlled the game quite well. "
on Dinamo Zagreb...
"In the first half Zagreb played well and closed us down well.
I felt we took too many risks in the build-up. They caught us well,
and I must say Zagreb are a good team. Maybe they could have
surprised opponents of less quality. They would have had a chance
to go through from the Champions League qualifier if they had not
played against us."
on the first win at Emirates Stadium...
"To not create a problem it is better you win the games. I
feel if we didn't win tonight people would say 'ah, you
cannot win at your new stadium'. So overall just to get it out
of the way it was important."
on getting through to the group stage...
"It is a relief because you know how much implication that
game has on the whole season. Not only financially of course -
financially it is also important for the club - but for us as a
team to have that extra special motivation to be part of the best
in Europe. It is a relief for the team because we knew that was a
tricky tie."
on preferred opponents inThursday's draw...
"No, not really, we are happy to be in the pot and we take now
whoever comes in there."
